A Petai A Day Keeps the Doctor Away

Food Tips
Today, I would like to add Food Tips which may be useful to everyone who loves to eat petai (Parkia speciosa). Petai has earned its nickname 'stink bean' because its strong smell is very pervasive!

This advice is from UKM Medical Doctor

Depression:

PMS(premenstrual syndrome):

Anaemia:
High in iron, petai can stimulate the production of haemoglobin in the blood and so helps in
cases of anaemia.

Blood Pressure:

Constipation:
Hangovers:

Heartburn:

Petai has a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heart
burn, try eating petai for soothing relief.

Morning Sickness :

Mosquito bites :

Ulcers:

Temperature control :

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) :

Smoking:

Strokes:

Those keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a wart, take a piece of petai and place it on the wart. Carefully hold the petai in place with a plaster or surgical tape!
