ASSORTED SOFT BUNS

Buns baked in Zanussi Cooker, looks rough but taste OKlah

BASIC SWEET BUN DOUGH
Ingredients
(A)
Bread flour 500 gm
Plain flour 100 gm
Caster sugar 100 gm
Milk powder 30 gm
Dry yeast 4 tsp

(B)
Egg 1 no
Cold water 300 ml

(C)
Unsalted butter 50 gm
Salt 10 gm

Method
Mix (A) till well blended
Add (B) to form a dough.
Add in (C) and knead until dough is elastic and smooth or use a bread maker machine
Cover dough and let it rest for an hour or double in size.
Divide dough into portions of 50 each. Shape into balls and leave it to rest for 10 mins.
Roll out dough and wrap with desired fillings. Shape as required and let it proof on greased baking tray for an hour or until dough is double in size.
Brush egg on dough. Bake dough at 190C for 12 mins

Filling
Fill your buns with can tuna fish, kaya, custard or red beans
