Today is 'chor yat' the 1st day of Chinese New Year where all Chinese families will be on their 'ang ang" red colour clothing, home deco and even undergarments for the 'ong' start of the new year. I have invited my FUK LUK SAU into my house and here I have practiced the welcoming of the good year on the eve of the NEW YEAR.
These are the must-buy items at home on this auspicious day. Sweet things are most favourable in most homes.
