The scientific name is Artocarpus champeden originated from the land of Malaysia.

It is nice to have it fried. I only buy from hawker stalls and do not have a good recipe. I found 1 here which you can Goreng Cempedak and many Malaysians like to use cempedak to create pantun.
I got one too :) Buah Cempedak di luar pagar, Ambil galah tolong jolokkan, hamba masih baru blog belayar, Kalau salah tolong tunjukkan.
See this this blogger Dream to Eat Cempedak.
During my younger days, I used to eat this Chempedak as we have got a Chempedak tree behind our kampung house.
ReplyDeleteFried Chempedak is nice, I like it fresh fruit too. But not easy to find in Klang Valley.
We even boiled the seeds to eat after eating the fruits. Have you tried? :)
