Grandma Ma Strawberry Cake

Ingredients:

Separate egg whites, beat them
add in yolks
1 tbsp baking powder
put sugar
add in flour

Bake for 20 minutes (she did not mention temperature. so we use 350)
overturn to a big plate
cut cake into 2 pieces

The Syrup

1 cup water
2 tbp water
Cook over medium heat
Add 3/4 cup Porto Wine
Pour over cake to avoid dryness

The filling

2 cups of milk
2 egg yolk
2 tbsp cornstarch
4 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp butter
Cook over medium heat
Pour over cake

Whipped Cream


500gm fresh milk
4 tbsp sugar
beat the mixture
squash 4 nos strawberries
add whipped cream to strawberries and mixed well
cover with second cake
apply filling all over
decorate with strawberries

Keep in fridge for 1 hour
