Chinese Steamed Cake

This recipe is an ancient recipe which was used by my grand parents and now we are still steaming and eating. Just 4 ingredients, we will  be able to enjoy a nice and fluffy cake at home.

Get ready a steamer and boil 3/4 full of water.
Get ready a steaming basket and lay with cake paper.

Ingredients
2 rice bowls plain flour
1.5 bowls castor sugar
200 ml eno or 100 plus liquid
1 bowl fresh eggs

1. Beat egg n sugar at high heat till white n pale.
2. Change to low speed. Beat till slightly firm.
3. Sieve in flour, mixed with spatula, add in eno fluid n continue mixing
    in 3 batches alternately.
4. Pour into steaming basket. Tap to remove bubbles.
5. Steam at high heat for 35 minutes. Steaming pot cover must be wrapped with a cloth to prevent
    water from dripping onto it during steaming process.
6. Steam at high heat for 35 minutes.


You can also steam as cupcakes. Just add some raisins.
Steaming at high heat for 15 minutes
